ALLIANCE FOR RETIRED AMERICANS ENDORSE DISANTO
CAVE CREEK - In an announcement this week, Alliance for Retired Americans have released a statement endorsing Delina DiSanto of Cave Creek, a registered nurse and businesswoman.
“The Alliance for Retired Americans, representing more than 4.4 million retirees, older Americans and community activists, including 46,921 members in Arizona, endorses your candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives from District 4 of Arizona.”
“I am honored to have earned the endorsement from Alliance for Retired Americans,” said DiSanto. “I will be a strong advocate and fight to protect the health and well-being of our retirees. They have worked hard their entire lives for their family and country, and paid into Medicare and Social Security. It must be there for them now and in the future. My opponent received only a 4% rating from Alliance for Retired Americans in 2019 because he wants to privatize our Social Security. This should not be a partisan issue, and I will never mess with our seniors' hard-earned money.”
In a district where the majority of voters are over the age of 50, this endorsement is key.
In the statement from Alliance for Retired Americans: “Your positions demonstrate a strong commitment to ensuring that all Americans have the secure retirement they have earned. We welcome your leadership on issues such as strengthening and expanding Social Security and Medicare and protecting them from cuts. Our members support your candidacy because of your belief in more affordable health care, including lower drug prices, pension security, and quality long term care.”
Delina DiSanto is a candidate for Congress in Arizona’s fourth congressional district. Her campaign manager, Dakota Hilton, can be reached at email@example.com.
